Luxury fashion brand Reiss has opened a first store at Gloucester Quays - its only outlet in the south west, said Peel Retail & Leisure.

The shop spans 1,800 sq ft and offers men’s, women’s and children's clothing.

It sits alongside other big-name brands at the 60 acre shopping destination, including M&S, luxury fashion retailer, Hobbs, occasionwear specialist, Phase Eight, and British clothing and homeware store Next.

Paul Carter, asset director at Peel Retail & Leisure, said: "Gloucester Quays is a top 10 UK outlet, and that status means we have a responsibility to house a diverse blend of top-quality retail and leisure.

"Reiss’s entrance to the scheme is a case-in-point of this commitment; it delivers a strong identity and trademark premium ranges, and the brand clearly believes in how Gloucester Quays can deliver for them in the region with this debut site."

The opening of Reiss follows the recent announcement that outdoor brand Berghaus had opened its second standalone UK store at Gloucester Quays.

Peel Retail & Leisure, part of The Peel Group, owns and manages 12 million sq ft of property and 20,000 acres of land and water across the UK, with a total portfolio value of over £2.5 billion.

Established in 1972, it has generations of history, heritage and expertise and is responsible for some of the most transformational projects in the country including The Trafford Centre, Peel Waters’ MediaCity and Peel NRE’s Protos energy and resource hub in Cheshire.
