Slough-based Thinventory supports NECS charity with surplus stock donation
Slough-based Thinventory, which was ByBox before a recent rebrand, revealed it has donated more than £2,500 in surplus ByBox branded merchandise to the Nkuringo Education and Community Support charity (NECS).
The latter is a UK charity providing educational and community support to the southwestern Ugandan community of Nkuringo.

Twice a year, volunteers travel from the UK to Nkuringo to distribute donations and give support.
For over ten years, NECS has supported the opening of a new nursery, primary and secondary school in the community and the next phase of its mission is to raise £12,000 to fund the build of a community hub for training, aid distribution, administering vaccinations and adult literacy lessons.
Now operating under the new brand, Thinventory supports vital infrastructure, including hospitals, telecoms, utilities and data centres with field service technology and logistics.
The large donation includes ByBox branded notebooks, water bottles and pens, which will be handed to students at primary and secondary schools in Nkuringo.
NECS chair and trustee Tara Garritt said: "Thank you to Thinventory for your generous donation. We will be flying out to Nkuringo at the end of October where the items will be distributed to our primary and secondary school students.
"Many of our students don’t have a notebook and water bottle of their own. These items will mean the world to them.
"The donation is a great way for Thinventory to reuse, repurpose and give surplus merchandise a new lease of life."
Stuart Miller, chairman of Thinventory, added: "We are delighted to be able to support NECS with a donation of branded items to ensure our surplus stock is used in a responsible way."
