Maritime UK Solent launches membership initiative
Maritime UK Solent is inviting businesses to join its newly launched membership programme, offering greater opportunities to network, collaborate and influence policy.
Established in 2019, the cluster has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the UK, spanning from Poole to Chichester.
Membership will provide access to events including the organisation’s regular networking meetings and exclusive roundtables with government and industry on topics such as maritime decarbonisation and skills development.
Anne-Marie Mountifield, chair of Maritime UK Solent, said: “In just five years, Maritime UK Solent has made an enormous impact on the regional sector – providing leadership, championing the great work that takes place here and supporting businesses to grow.
“We’re launching membership opportunities so we can work more closely and do more to support the region’s exceptional maritime sector.
“This initiative provides organisations with the tools and opportunities to raise their profile both nationally and internationally, be better connected locally and contribute more to the area within which they operate.
“Members will benefit from enhanced networking, an elevated platform to showcase their innovations and a louder voice that can influence the future direction of our industry.”
There are four membership options – strategic partner (£3,000), partner (£1,500), launchpad (£750, exclusive to startups), and associate (free).
Businesses that sign up before the end of October can take advantage of an introductory offer, receiving 18 months of membership for the price of 12.
