Worcestershire County Council launches support scheme for manufacturers
Worcestershire County Council has launched the next phase of its Elevate Worcestershire Manufacturing Programme, designed to help local manufacturing companies grow.
Delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice, the new programme offers a range of tailored support services, including access to expert advice, financial support through grants, and opportunities for business development and networking.
Cllr Adam Kent, cabinet member with responsibility for economy and skills, said:“We recognise the crucial role that manufacturing plays in the local economy and the vast potential it holds for future growth.
“This programme is about harnessing that potential and transforming challenges into opportunities.
“By providing dedicated support to our manufacturers, we are not only contributing to their individual success but also to the broader economic prosperity of Worcestershire.
“This is more than just a support scheme – it is a vital part of our strategic vision for a robust and dynamic local economy.
“We are committed to creating an environment where manufacturing enterprises can not only survive but truly flourish.”
Applications are now open to Worcestershire-based manufacturers.
