Solid State plc reports director share dealings
Solid State plc, the Worcestershire-based tech component manufacturer, reported director share dealings last week.
In a stock market statement, the company said that on July 10, Peter James, the chief financial officer, bought 699 shares at £14.30 each for around £9,995. It also reported that the CEO and a director had sold shares.

CEO Gary Marsh, also on July 10, sold 35,000 shares at £14.20 each worth £497,000. Director John Macmichael on the same date sold 30,000 shares at the same price worth £426,000.
Following these transactions, the firm said Gary Marsh, Peter James and John Macmichael now hold, including their persons closely associated, 253,783 shares, 13,252 shares and 101,353 shares respectively, or a total of 3.25 per cent of the firm's share capital.
Earlier this month, the Redditch-based company announced revenues of £163.3 million for the 12 months ended March 2024, up from £126.5 million last year, and adjusted profits before tax up almost 45 per cent to £15.6 million.
The group maintained a strong orderbook with open orders being £89.2 million as at May 31, 2024.
