Barry Stanton named as new managing partner at Boyes Turner
Reading-based law firm Boyes Turner said Barry Stanton had been appointed as its new managing partner, having been in the interim role since September last year, when Jonathan Grigg stepped down.
Stanton joined the firm as a partner in its employment team back in 2001, acting for both national and international companies across engineering, leisure and hospitality, professional services, software and technology, and logistics.

He said: "As a firm, we’ve set ourselves ambitious growth targets. These mean actively expanding our offering, continuing to strengthen our existing teams, exceeding our ESG goals, especially those we’ve set in relation to Equality Diversity & Inclusion, and investing in technology.
"As a go-to law firm for entrepreneurial businesses, I want our people to feel connected to Boyes Turner’s vision for the future, which has always been about ensuring our clients thrive. It’s a privilege to lead this incredible team."
Kim Milan, senior partner and head of personal injury at Boyes Turner, added: "Barry was overwhelmingly the first choice as managing partner.
"As Boyes Turner enters a period of strategic growth and developing new services, we’ll benefit from the solid leadership and commercial direction Barry has shown in abundance already."
