A specialist in supporting entrepreneurs through the exit process, Mohide will be responsible for helping to develop the firm's existing tax service offering in the South West and providing private client wealth planning and tax advisory support to entrepreneurs and private businesses.

"We’re delighted to welcome James to our rapidly expanding Private Client Services team in the South West," said Paul Falvey, partner and head of tax in Bristol and Reading at BDO.

"In the last 12 months, we have invested significantly in the region, cementing our position in the market by attracting talented and high-performing individuals to strengthen our proposition.

"James will add considerable value as we continue to grow our tax and private client teams across the region."

Mohide said it was a "really exciting" time to be joining BDO following the "recent growth trajectory the practice has been on in the last 12 months".

"Our ambitions are set against an evolving political backdrop which will undoubtedly see a change in tax legislation over the coming months, with the added debate around whether current tax policy is fit for purpose given the societal and economic changes occurring in the UK," he said.
