BDO welcomes new partner at Bristol office
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has strengthened its audit team with the appointment of Paul Nott as partner.
Paul joins BDO from PwC, where he’s spent 29 years of his career – the last 12 of which have been as an audit director in Bristol.
During that time, he’s built up plenty of experience in the energy and utilities markets, as well as covering large infrastructure projects and capital market transactions.
Paul specialises in the large corporate market, with a particular focus on PE-backed or larger private audited entities.
David Brookes, regional managing partner at BDO South West, said: “Paul brings a wealth of experience to the Bristol team, adding real value to our audit proposition.
“In particular, we’ll be tapping into his extensive expertise in the large corporate market, where he’ll help us to drive strong, sustainable growth.
“We’re delighted to have someone of his calibre onboard – someone with real understanding of the regional landscape.”
Paul added:“I’m very excited to join the growing team in the South West.
“It’s a fantastic region, with entrepreneurially spirited business owners at the heart of the local economy.
“BDO prides itself on delivering high-quality, partner-led services, and I’m delighted to be joining such a strong and dynamic team, strengthening our position as a leader in the market.”
