Bicester’s Transense Technologies shares strong year-end results
Transense Technologies, a Bicester-based manufacturer of specialist sensor systems, has enjoyed a strong financial year ended 30 June 2024.
The company made “substantial investment” in people, facilities and equipment across both its surface acoustic wave technology (SAWsense) and tyre inspection tool (Translogik) markets.
Revenues for the period rose 18 per cent to £4.18 million, with pre-tax profits up 20 per cent at £1.31 million.
Nigel Rogers, executive chairman of Transense, said: “We’re delighted with the progress made in the year across the company’s entire operations.
“We’ve strengthened the board and executive leadership while making some key appointments in senior management and across the commercial and engineering teams to achieve a major step up in activity.
“Customer engagement has developed in both depth and number, with strong commercial pipelines and improved visibility to revenue generation.
“These factors, combined with the investments we’re making from self-generated cashflow in infrastructure, are expected to support our ambitious growth trajectory in future.”
