Alternative lender ThinCats has moved headquarters to expanded offices in Birmingham following the launch of a dedicated £100 million Midlands growth fund.

"We are pleased to relocate our head office to Birmingham and cement our commitment to the region through a dedicated £100m fund to meet the considerable demand from local businesses and their advisers to fund growth," said Amany Attia, CEO.

ThinCats recently announced plans to deploy £100m to entrepreneurs running profitable mid-sized businesses (with EBITDA of over £1m) from across the Midlands.

This commitment has been followed by recent funding for Birmingham-based businesses, Fuelsoft and Compass CHC.

ThinCats saw a record level of deal origination in its financial year to end-June, 2024, providing more than £378m to SMEs across the UK.
