Two Hampshire care homes sold to Sandbourne House

Two specialist homes in Hampshire previously owned by Auckland Care Holdings Ltd have been sold for an undisclosed price to existing specialist care home provider Sandbourne House Ltd, said Christie & Co.

Seventrees sits close to the centre of the village of Fawley on the edge of the New Forest and is registered for eight people with learning disabilities.

Meanwhile, Webber House in Park Gate is a supported living setting for nine residents and sits in a residential area close to local facilities. It has 11 single bedrooms and benefits from a garden to rear, good day space, and a passenger lift.

A spokesperson for Sandbourne House said: "The purchase of these two businesses shows our commitment to the specialist care sector and they are a great addition to our company.

"We look forward to getting to know the residents, their families, and staff and working to better the lives of those we look after."

Trinity Munowenyu, managing director of Auckland Care Holdings Ltd, added; "We are delighted to have successfully sold the two homes to Sandbourne House Ltd and wish them all the best with their future plans.

"These are two very good homes with lovely residents and great staff, and it has been a pleasure owning and operating these homes."

Charles Phillips, director - healthcare at Christie & Co, said: "I am really pleased that we have achieved the sale of these two businesses for Auckland Care Holdings Ltd and feel that the new owners will be very successful with their plans.

"These are the second and third homes the buyer has purchased through us at Christie & Co, and it is a pleasure to be involved in their expansion journey."
