Revenues hold at Berkshire self-care group Venture Life
Venture Life Group (VLG), a Bracknell-based developer and manufacturer of self-care products, has posted a trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2024.
Revenues for the period remained at £23.5 million – as they were in the first half of 2023 and in line with expectations.
The group saw growth in its Balance Activ, Lift and Earol brands following new product launches and increased marketing investment.
Online sales via Amazon have also grown at pace, now at £2.5 million – up 50 per cent on the period prior.
Revenues are as usual expected to be weighted towards the second half.
Jerry Randall, CEO of Venture Life, said: “I’m thrilled by the performance of VLG’s brands within the UK.
“We’ve launched some great new products over the last year and continued to grow our distribution points – most significantly across core brands, including Lift, Balance Activ and Earol.
“The increased investment in focused marketing activity, plus the strengthening of relationships with major retailers, is delivering evident results and has put us well placed to quickly build out further, with exciting potential collaborations also under discussion within Europe.
“Further, we’ve taken steps to internalise production of the recently acquired Earol brand and have begun manufacturing these products from Biokosmes during the second half of 2024 which will deliver further gross margin improvement.”
Interim results are expected from the group on 30 September 2024.
