Blandy & Blandy celebrates first anniversary of Wokingham office
Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy welcomed guests to a well-attended event this week to mark the one-year anniversary of the firm’s Wokingham branch.
From its office at 5 Market Place, Blandy & Blandy provides a full range of legal services to individuals and families, businesses and other organisations.
In the past 12 months, the firm has supported various local charities and good causes, including The Cowshed, The Link Visiting Scheme, CLASP, Arts4Wokingham, the Wokingham May Fayre and Winter Carnival and the Wokingham Community Vision.
It’s also a proud member of the Wokingham Positive Difference group.
Blandy & Blandy’s role within the community and the wider contribution made by the firm to the local area was highlighted by both Cllr Stephen Conway, leader of Wokingham Borough Council, and Cllr Adrian Mather, mayor of Wokingham Borough Council, in their speeches at the event.
Cllr Rob Comber, mayor of Wokingham Town Council, also attended.
Chair and partner Claire Dyer said: “It’s a cliche, but time really does fly.
“Just over a year since we hosted our launch event, it was fantastic to welcome colleagues and guests to mark a very busy and successful first year for our Wokingham office.
“Particular thanks to mayor Cllr Adrian Mather, mayor Cllr Rob Comber and Cllr Stephen Conway for all joining us and for their very kind words.
“As many of our colleagues will attest to, Wokingham is a great place to live and work, and we’re very proud to be a part of its thriving professional and wider community.”
Blandy & Blandy also has offices in Reading and Henley-on-Thames.
