Persimmon Homes makes senior Midlands appointment
Persimmon Homes has strengthened its land teams across the Midlands with the appointment of Elizabeth Woods as strategic land director designate.
Stepping up from her previous role as strategic land and planning manager, Elizabeth has been with the housebuilder’s South Midlands team for 11 years, having joined as a graduate in 2013.
She’ll now be working across both the South Midlands and Midlands regions, working on the acquisition and development of strategic land across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.
Elizabeth said: “I’m delighted to have been promoted to land director designate, and I’m looking forward to a new challenge and playing my part in ensuring quality homes and infrastructure remain at the heart of what we do.
“My new role will involve working across a much wider geographic location and engaging with a number of new land promoters and local authorities to secure new strategic site for Persimmon to develop its communities.
“I’m excited to start this next step of my career.”
Russell Griffin, managing director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to promote Elizabeth to land director designate.
“Her skills and experience have been a real asset to the South Midlands business and the Persimmon Group overall.
“With her promotion, this will only continue to be the case.”
