Grundon’s carbon neutral fleet marks 10 years
This month marks 10 years since Grundon Waste Management launched its CarbonNeutral fleet certification programme.
Grundon’s commercial fleet, as well as company cars and vans, have travelled more than 61 million miles over the past decade, enabling the company to offset the equivalent of over 115,000 tonnes of carbon.
The company has helped fund reforestation and water infrastructure programmes in Uganda and wind turbine installations in Guatemala.
Alongside its carbon offsetting programme, Grundon, which is headquartered in Oxfordshire and has operations across the region, is investing £6.5 million a year to expand its electric waste collection fleet and explore alternative fuels.
