Private equity group Bowmark Capital has reinvested in national Focus Group.

The latter is one of the UK’s leading providers of essential business technology to SMEs.

In April this year, Focus Group announced it had secured a significant investment from Hg - a leading investor in European and transatlantic software and services businesses.

Bowmark originally invested in Focus Group in March, 2020 and during Bowmark’s four-year investment period, the company more than trebled its revenues, significantly expanded its range of technology solutions, and broadened its coverage across the UK.

Bowmark partner Tom Shelford said: "Over the past four years, Focus Group has delivered industry-leading organic growth, coupled with a highly successful acquisition strategy to support its product and geographic expansion.

"We have built a strong partnership with the team as it invested in the people, systems and service excellence which underpin this success – and are excited to be working with Hg and the management team in the next stage of the company’s growth."

Focus Group co-founder Chris Goodman added: "Bowmark has been a great partner, helping us to capitalise on the company’s multiple growth opportunities, and we are delighted to be continuing the journey with them, alongside Hg."
