Brand new to the Hampshire Business Awards 2024 is the Taste of Hampshire Award – an accolade introduced to recognise and celebrate culinary excellence, innovation and dedication within the food and drink community.  

With this new award, we’ve created a platform to showcase Hampshire’s rich and diverse produce and flavours. 

This prestigious award honours the unrivalled passion of the region's food and drink producers as well as their contribution to the local economy. Our independent judges will be considering how nominees have excelled in delivering exceptional taste experiences and fostering genuine connections with the people of Hampshire. 

But beyond just showing off your incredible products, how can you make sure that you’re giving yourself the best possible chance of taking home the trophy? 

Here are three steps you can take when filling in your nomination form: 

Demonstrate your link to Hampshire 

We’re on the hunt for a food or drink producer with truly strong and genuine ties to Hampshire. Do you use locally sourced ingredients? Do you take inspiration from surrounding businesses? We want to know all about how being part of such a vibrant region has influenced your operations. 

Showcase your sustainability 

Sustainability is the name of the game in the modern world of business, and focusing on it is a sure-fire way to sticking in the forefront of our independent judges’ minds. Spare no detail about your ESG efforts in every step of your process from production to delivery. 

Explain your impact 

While every food and drink producer in the region is vying to lift this prestigious accolade at the Hampshire Business Awards 2024, it can be hugely beneficial for you to tell us about any other awards or certifications you may have received in the past. Additionally, there’s plenty of space on the nomination form for you to share with us any testimonials you’ve received, whether from clients, partners, employees or customers. 

Share your vision 

As with all categories at this year’s event, we’re not just searching for a winner who’s seen unrivalled excellence during the qualifying period alone – to be singled out as Hampshire’s best-of-the-best, we want to see that you’ve got real ambition to continue your growth trajectory well into the future.
