Five features of the Entrepreneur of the Year

Few categories at the Hampshire Business Awards 2024 are more exciting than the Entrepreneur of the Year.

Resilience 

The winner of this coveted accolade won’t necessarily be the person who has had the smoothest journey to the top, but rather the person who has demonstrated the most admirable ability to navigate challenges and obstacles. Including details about issues you’ve faced on your nomination form can be instrumental in showing our independent judges that you are a capable leader in the face of adversity. 

Inspiration and empowerment 

Being the Entrepreneur of the Year is about so much more than just being able to demonstrate your excellence on an individual level. The winner of this category will be someone who has played a large part in inspiring and empowering other businesspeople within the region – the Hampshire Business Awards 2024 is all about seeing organisations within the region grow together. 

Honed knowledge 

To stand out as the region’s leading entrepreneur, nominees will need to showcase a depth of knowledge about the region, their sector and the world of business as a whole. Demonstrating how you’ve used your unique market insights to gain a competitive advantage over other nominees will be key to taking home the trophy.
