Trio of food and drink brands invest in Festival Place, Basingstoke
Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke is set to welcome two new food and drink brands later this year.
Heavenly Desserts and family-run cafe operator Boswells have committed to launch at the centre, while wagamama will also be significantly expanding its footprint.
Poppy Radford, asset manager at CBRE-owned Sovereign Centros, said: “At Festival Place, we’re committed to not only adding new brands to diversify our offer, but to nurture existing tenants, creating space for them to invest and grow.
“This latest trio of deals is evidence of this ongoing commitment, with Boswell’s and Heavenly Desserts adding two fresh hospitality options and wagamama’s upcoming expansion strengthening the centre’s restaurant offer even further.”
Boswells and wagamama will both occupy a 3,900 sq ft unit at the centre, with Heavenly Desserts taking 1,300 sq ft opposite Five Guys.
Nick Burn, managing director of Boswells, added: “With more than 18 cafés located across the South, we’ve long been wanting to come to Basingstoke.
“As the heart of the town’s retail and leisure offer, Festival Place makes for the ideal home, and we’re looking forward to introducing our family-run concept to a brand-new audience.”
Lunson Mitchenall and GCW represented Festival Place in the transactions.
