Attended by roughly 90 guests, this event also marked the culmination of the first year of MSP Capital’s ESG strategy, Foundations for Better Futures, showcasing their commitment to giving back to its team, the environment, the local community, and the property industry. To mark the occasion, MSP Capital pledged to plant a tree in the south of England for every guest at the social, in partnership with Treeapp.

Guests mingled around a large tree, the centrepiece of the room, symbolising MSP Capital’s dedication to sustainability and growth. The luxurious canapés prepared by Molecular Magic Creative Catering further enhanced the event’s appeal. Elli Mae, Molecular Magic’s Creative Events and Business Coordinator, praised MSP Capital: “Working with MSP Capital on their summer social has been a lovely experience. We respect businesses that implement sustainable processes into their company culture and applaud MSP Capital for doing it with such passion. We look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.”

Paul Miracca, MSP Capital’s Joint Managing Director, remarked: “Since 1981, we’ve grown to become a leading bridging and development lender. Our summer social was an ideal opportunity to celebrate and nurture our strong relationships across the property industry and the charities and community causes we support. It was a pleasure and privilege to provide top-quality music and entertainment for our guests and have so much fun together.”

MSP Capital believes that the impact a company can have extends beyond their office walls. With the launch of Foundations for Better Futures in June 2023, the company solidified its goals to drive positive change within the industry. In just over a year, MSP Capital has made significant strides. From donating nearly £40,000 to charities through fundraising events to holding educational sessions for nearly 150 property professionals.

To ensure a holistic and cohesive approach, four voluntary committees make up the Foundations for Better Futures at MSP Capital. The committees cover community giving, wellbeing, social and sustainability and are made up of a broad range of the company’s employees.

Rachel Bartlett, Head of Marketing & People at MSP Capital, highlighted the company’s unwavering commitment to the Foundations initiative: “It has been a remarkable journey. Myself and the team are all proud of the positive impact we get to have as part of this initiative. The internal committees, that make up the Foundations, work so hard to ensure as many people as possible can benefit, both within the company and in the wider community. It’s incredibly fulfilling to look back at the achievements from the past year, and also to look forward to our ambitious plans for the future.”

The success of the summer social and the positive feedback from attendees underscore the importance of such events in enhancing strong relationships and promoting a sense of community. Foundations for Better Futures continues to be a cornerstone of MSP Capital’s mission, reflecting their dedication to sustainability, community engagement, and industry leadership.
